More for folk in God's waiting room.  I think the terms downsizing, downsize or downsized means that's where you are or you're heading there.  ;)

I know these x-mas smileys are confusing BUT
you put smile instead of grin or cheesy
I assume your 2 words (Fiesta & diesel ) are what to make sure you don't type in a search engine when looking for a car  :-\

No the Fiesta is a great little car!  :y

Although I'd probably go for the 1.4 petrol over the derv, unless I was doing lots of miles.  :)

I said the very same to STMO but he still insisted on an Astra derv.

Book yourself in now ,there is quite a waiting list for psychiatric help   ;D

I'd not worry about low tax or insurance when looking for a car ,even £200 or £300 a year on tax easy to swallow and insurance on any car should be cheap if 40 Y/O +
fuel economy and depreciation, reliability, service costs and finding a car your comfy in is far more important , even if that car is older/not the latest reg

Some good deals on lorry fuel cars because nobody wants them and the dealers need to shift them.
