self-abusers. But I suspect everyone already knew that.
Paid extra for Saturday delivery, because I needed an item for tomorrow. Waited in all day, and kept an eye on their website, counting down the number of deliveries before me. I saw it get to 2 to go, then a plain white Sprinter type van pulls outside. So I open the front door and wait, listening to the driver in the back of the van throwing stuff around and swearing, before speeding off.
A few seconds later I got a email saying they had left a card.
I guess they have lost or nicked it.What a bunch of wet dreams.
So now I'm going to have the hassle of getting a refund for the item, when I don't even have it. *sigh*

You really are unlucky with deliveries; I sympathise. Not to rub it in, but an order from ebay was sent by Royal Mail and they texted me three times with advice of the deliver time slot and also three emails. Delivered this morning within the promised time window - undamaged!
Ron.

You couldn’t make it up.
I waited at our nearest petrol station for a delivery. The guy did the same thing with packages in the back. Tossing stuff all over the place before finding our item ( a sink on a pallet) i wondered how many packets got damaged.

Had a similar issue with Yodel failing to deliver a dash cam ,which was a gift for the
out-laws in-laws ::)
followed tracking so far ,then it changed to "sorry we missed you"
I have CCTV so I know the reason they missed me ,they never came >:(
then they dicked about for a few days pretending they intended to deliver it
then they where doing a depot wide search (but assured me the item was NOT lost ???)
by now I had had a replacement delivered from another seller /different courier .
passed all the info on to the original seller and got a prompt refund
so Yodel change delivery tracking info and lie ,and i have proof (delivery tracking screenshots)
I was not impressed

Hermes delivered my number plate surrounds this evening, ordered on the 1st.
Now I don't generally rate Hermes, but credit where it's due ;)
-
We had deliveries from Argos, Yodel and Royal Mail last week. All, more or less, on time, although Royal Mail 48 hour signed for came after 24 hours, with the online tracking being virtually useless.

Yodel are shite.

I guess I'm lucky with Herpes, as our local delivery woman has been doing it a while, and uses common sense.
TBH, I'm generally lucky with most couriers since the demise of Amtrak*, apart from the regular misdelieries to a house about a quarter of a mile away. My usual issue with "couriers" is due to sellers not posting (either at all, or late).
*Amtrak had a 100% on-time failure rate to me, over 8 parcels. Though it was a franchise, so luck of the draw really. I was delighted when it went tits up.

Ive found DPD tracking and drivers quite reliable lately. Royal snail are still hit & miss. More mis than hit actually. It seems to be a pretty pointless company now that the competition has overtaken it with price and service.
-
Yodel are shite.
round here the couriers all give a decent service.
Parcelfarce on the other hand, are absolutely useless.
-
Had several deliveries over the last few weeks various companies all perfect most of the drivers were Eastern Europeans very polite & cheerful & everything on time if not earlier than promised.
-
It's that Brackley post code again. ;)

Strangely, ArseholeForce are find here, assuming their are no customs charges, as their fees are as high as DHL's :o

Waiting for the seller, Ebuyer, to call back. They have already instructed courier to return item to them, and if its still in "good condition" they will refund me the price of the item. WTF?!!!
The callback is because they are refusing to refund the shipping, and the dozy droid bint I spoke to was disinterested/stonewalling.
Needless to say, no callback yet.
-
No callback, tried calling again, but because the last woman deleted the return, they cant say what is happening, so was just wasting breath.
Lets see what refund comes through when credit card statement arrives next month, and I might just go straight for a chargeback

Love your new username. I take it it was you that changed it? Of course it was. :)

Only just noticed. It's getting hard to know who's who these days, Frank. ;D
