1999 3.0 Elite FS

Am seeing if there is any interest in the car - otherwise will be SORN, & put away in the garage as it's far too good to break or scrap.

1999 3.0 Auto Elite Saloon in Champagne (gold). 90,500 miles. MoT to July 2013, taxed to end of Dec 2012.

I bought it in April 2010  with (75,000 on the clock) as a fixer-up project and so far the following has been done:

New front discs/hubs/droplinks/Track-rod ends
New front wishbones (Lemforder)
New springs/shocks all round (non self levelling at rear)
Cambelt done at 75,000 in Sept 2010
Genuine GM water pump
Aux belt/tensioner
New Dis Pack
New HBV with coolant drain/flush
New header tank
Oil has been changed every 3,000 miles in my ownership (converted to metal VFO93 filters)
Exhaust manifold gasket done 2k ago
Suspension alignment by WIM in April this year - 2 new front tyres fitted
Auto gearbox fluid changed
Aircon regassed
Rear donuts done
Full Bosal(?) exhaust system

I have full service history from previous owner going back several years. Most significant thing was new oil cooler - on top of usual Omega stuff.

In my ownership I had the rear SL suspension setup removed with new springs/shocks fitted and the SL pump removed. SAI gubbins & pump removed and all blanked off.

The interior was black leather - but I sourced a mint black cloth (Dots) interior and have fitted that together with MFL MV6 trim instead of the fake wood. Front seat heaters work fine.

Everything works as it should, it has 2 keys, radio codes etc. Has a Parrot CK3100 Bluetooth kit fitted - but has stopped working recently for some reason. Front tyres have only done 7k, the rears have about 3mm on them.

In terms of bad points, there is a small rust mark on one of the rear doors (size of a penny) and one of the wheel arches has a very small rust mark. Both these have been treated and I've even bought all the stuff/paint to sort it but haven't got round to doing it as yet.

For the last year this has been my daily driver - and the only reason is that I'm even thinking of selling is that is no longer being used due to a new job with a diesel only car use policy. Just seems a shame for it to be sat there doing nothing. However, I will not give the car away and if there is no interest it will stay sat in the garage and just come out in fine weather as and when the fancy takes me.

Located 10 miles south of Lincoln.

In terms of price - lets say £700 & will come with a boot full of useful spares ........

If there is any interest then I can get some pics.

Seems like a sorted motor, Robert.

As you live so close I'd be tempted, but I  can't justify a third car.

Someone will get a bargain. :y

I do hope so, but there has been zero interest so far though ..........

I'm taking her out for a run later on some errands and a wash - then it's (back) into the garage and see what happens .......
