Currently at work and just about to "manufacture" a diff mount. If it goes Pete Tong, Im going to blame Nick W and DG for suggesting such a ludicrous idea.  ;D

Yeah, did mine using techniques I learnt one afternoon in the school workshop. When I was 12 ;)

I used card and greaseproof paper having considered making a wooden version of the industrial 'Medway' edition :D

It was intended to be reusable. And made out of materials that weren't earmarked for other jobs. It's far more study than is necessary, I would make another out of 6mm aluminium plate and the upright from 10mm thick bar simply to make bolting it together easy. It bolts together just in case the release agent doesn't work.

You could bolt the horseshoes together with some thin plastic or thick aluminium foil between them, and hot glue the now three pieces to a rigid, shiny surface. A cutting board or disposable roasting 'tin' from Poundland would work well.

Definitely a better solution than *greaseproof paper and candle wax :y

*incidentally, neither were reusable  :D

I didnt go to school that often, and when I did I took far call notice of what I was being taught.  ::)

I did however make a wooden version of yours - sort of. The proof of the pudding will be if it actually fits onto the car ok. I think it will, but time will tell.

Hopefully you are using the actual brackets to pour the goo into... If so, it will be fine. If not all bets are off :D

As an aside, the vertical position of the central mounting point relative to the outer frame can be used to influence the height of the back of the subframe. Higher to effectively lower the rear height, or lower to raise it.

Yes I did use the horse shoe. Not sure what else I could have used.  :-\
Not sure I got the mixture quite right as it has set as hard as granite, which surprised me. I expected a bit of elasticity ?  :-\

I can't imagine why you would want to this, and would be more concerned about twisting the other mounts for any potential 'improvement.' Tilting the diff is also going to do interesting things to the propshaft alignment.
