FD is just a job title, someone I worked in practice with is now one at the mighty age of 27-28. It's the salary that matters ;).

Regarding he car, seems off that the fonace has just/will be cleared but the car previously sold. So presumably they tried to sell it with O/S finance last time?   ::)

caveat emptor and all that. Personally I wouldn't touch it with someone else's! But that has more to do with it having the wrong engine in it that my questions about the seller's motives.  :y

Summat doesn't quite add up :-\

That said when I sold my first Insignia, it was a similar ad, although I made it quite clear that the lowest offer I would accept was the finance settlement figure and that the car wouldn't be released until I had authority from the finance company.

Good job I made of point about doing this, as unbeknownst to me, they paid with a stolen credit card. By the time the finance company realised, the car had been part exchanged and the only saving grace was that they finance company had recorded the call where I specifically asked if funds were clear and that I had their express consent to release the car. Took them nearly seven months to track it down :o

Can't understand why she didn't chop it in against her new car, she'd have got more than on eBay. In fact, she'd probably get more from WBAC.

I wonder why WBAC don't buy cars off eBay? ;D

Got £18000 and now relisted as a classified ad. Definitely iffy.
