What version V70 did you buy?Join in the world record attempt at Bruntingthorpe at the end of March :y

It's a 2004 2.4 D5 SE

It was showing 55.5 mpg on the trip computer when I picked it up but that's declining now.  ::)

Compared to the BMW it's a bit like driving a canal boat!  :-X  ;D

Nothing yet, but Im hoping to muster the energy to try and find out why switching on the indicators on the 190 instantly blows the fuse, then give the Omega a much needed wash.  :)

Took the Phaeton through the now completed section of smart motorway on M6 J19 to J18. Getting there. Will make a big difference when completed. Rest of journey down to M6 Toll not bad today even if restricted to 50mph.

And also discovered the backbox is shot. But I think its original
£45 and triple nectar points in January if you purchase from your favorite internet auction site  :y
it's got one of those wire wool rig type donut gaskets though   ,so more expense  ::) and if original , I doubt the 2 special bolts either side of the joint will play ball  :-\

have the speeding and parking fines started landing on your doormat for it yet ?  :o
Backbox replaced, along with brillo pad wire wool gasket.  Both bolts came out as well as could be expected, but I couldn't an M8 1.0mm nut, so had to replace one with a normal M8 nut and bolt, as the mid section thread for one of them wasn't going to be man enough.

Heatsheild reattached to the chassis, which was the main issue that made me look yesterday, only reason backbox was knackered was because one of the hangers had rusted loose.

Thanks to that Gixer fella for use of his warm garage, as I've decided I'm now far too old to be rolling around a driveway in sub zero temps...

Not car related, but OOF related.

Received a parcel yesterday, but only opened it today.  It was from that nice Kevin Wood fella.

Thanks Kevin :y

Finally after replacing sooo many parts I now have done my full geo set up.

Got camber to 1’ 10 exactly on nsf. And 1’18 on osf.

On the rear got 0 thrust angle and amazingly rear camber in the green too. Took it for a run after.  Even on my old ditch finders it feels loooooovely. Can’t wait to now put some half decent tyres on. 😄😄😄
