I had to contact them again this afternoon, but saga over. Spring now with me. Actually they delivered 2, but not sure I have the energy to call them to return one.

In the same way I don't have the energy to sort out the pad wear sensors which are the wrong ones.

Anyway, case closed, I'm "happy"

I would keep the second spring for the hassle you've had, strangely ECP down this way treat  the trade pretty well and if they eff up they make financial amends to try and rectify

Tesco Direct just cocked up an order, basically sent the wrong thing.  I opened the package probably 10mins ago, got straight on the phone, spoke to a lady, and have already received an email confirming the replacement order is being getting ready for dispatch (sadly too late for delivery tomorrow).

Thats how it should be done.

Agreed... Even Ikea can manage that, and they make almost impossible to find anything :D

I don't beellllliiieeeevvvvveeee it

I foolishly ordered some bits from Euroshite, against my better judgement, but I never learn ;D.

Guess what? Yup, a part missing from the box.  I knew that just by the tiny box that was delivered.

I'm hoping it'll be easier to sort out with EuroShite, as they don't try to be faceless like CP4L.  On the upside, I do have a great contact within ECP following the hassle I had with CP4L, who was the one who ultimately sorted it all out.

I might call her tomorrow if I haven't heard back.

Because I'm far too tight to genuinely go into a genuine BMW dealership for a genuine BMW camsensor, I ordered one from CP4L!   :)

I'll let you know how it goes, but I don't anticipate any problems, as TB seems to mop up all the shite from these companies!  ;D

PS. I'm currently sat in another supermarket car park waiting for the bloody thing to cool down so I can start it!  >:(  ::)

Clearly I'm too demanding, I'm asking too much when I pay my money and expect the item I ordered to turn up and be the correct, new part.

Given this revelation, I should humbly apologise to the oppswits.  opps that.

As predicted, ECP seem easier to deal with than their CP4L outfit

I still don't understand why you still insist on using them because they ALWAYS turn you over.  ???
