unstoppable wipers

any body know why when you turn the wipers off they carry on for another 45 cycles

Something not right there, mine just go the parked position after a full wipe. Faulty stalk?

knackered/loose park-switch in the wiper motor.

I've a mechanism off an Astra G knocking about in my garage you can have  :y ...... assuming the motor itself is the same  :-\
