Interesting facts re the election

A couple of interesting facts on the beeb last night. Jo Swindon is MP for East Dumbartonshire and, despite the recent alliance in parliament with the SNP, they will do their utmost to unseat her. That would be really funny. :)
Also, during the last three general elections, 49% of people have voted for different parties. It appears folk are actually voting on policy, rather than party loyalty. (This does not apply to places like Barnsley, of course, where the proverbial donkey wearing red rosette would get in).

The Lib Dems have had some strange leaders over the years. Paddy Pantsdown was a strange cove and he was followed by the ginger oddball with a side parting which looked as though it had been put there by his mother (enough to drive him to drink)

Now they are under the control of 'a slip of a girl' who appears out of her depth. :)

Reminds me of Ken Clarke's observations on Labour Fiscal policy.

........along the lines of "The Dolly Parton school of economics which conjures up a fantastic figure with no visible means of support"  ;) :)
