I thought about getting a few tins of spam in.  :-\

Apparently stands for Special Processed American Meat......or luncheon meat to us Brits.

Either way it is processed crap.

Oh yes, the yanks will always be there to save us! :D :D

For a price, Lizzie.

Do we still owe money borrowed from the US during WW2?......... :) :-* :-* :-*

We paid off the last of what we owed in 2006. :D ;)

Ooops. Sorry Sir Tigger; I have now seen you answered that already. :-[ :-[ :D ;)

Fickin idiots.  ::)

Don't worry, Mr Bitz. I'm sure Theresa has it all under control. :D
She is either very stubborn or is working to a very clever plan, the more more the EU think we are preparing to leave the EU in a Cold Turkey way with No Deal the more they are going to be pressured into giving up some of there Terms, maybe?

If it is the latter, she is kinda leaving it all a bit late, I hope she has a good Poker Face when it comes 11:59pm on the 29th March.

That will be too late as we (as things stand) leave at 23.00 hours on the 29th March.  ;)

I think we will end up with a BRINO or no brexit at all.

There is almost no chance of a real 'out on our own in the bid bad world' brexit.

I seen a report on Sky this afternoon not sure if it was the same one , in which it focused on a sad silly stupid bint who had filled the cupboard under the stairs with all sorts of foodstuffs .
I have to say that with the footage  and the phrasing of the introduction I was seething at Sky for scraping the underside of the barrel in reporting .
It reallly was base scaremongering to the N th degree.
Between that and stupidly picking up The Telegraph  to read over a coffee this afternoon it really pissed me off .
I think the remoaners via the traitorous mp's that have grabbed the middle ground and pissed all over the voters who opted to leave have won and that we will be dragged back into the brussel boys club duly punished and then sent to the back of the class like a second rate former eastern bloc country.
If that does happen I will use every opportunity to vote to break up the United Kingdom I am ever given .

I'm beginning to be ashamed to be British .

I'm inclined to agree with you M'lud, but the 'Remain' sites I watch are all pinning their hopes on a lengthy extension to the A50 period to hold a 2nd referendum.  ::)

If Parliament rejects May's deal on Tuesday (which is likely), they then get to vote on No Deal and extending the A50 period, and they are likely to vote against No Deal and vote for extending A50.

The ball is then in the EU's court, and I think that everyone is assuming that the EU will readily agree to extending the A50 period, but I'm not so sure.  :-\

The decision is for the European Council and they have to vote unanimously in favour, but there have been noises on the continent against extending A50 so I don't think it's a given.  :-\

If the European Council refuse to extend the A50 period, then we leave with No Deal at 2300 hrs on 29th March.  :)

Of course May could bring her deal back to Parliament at 2200 hrs on 29th March in a last ditch panic vote, with Donald Tusk waiting on the phone in Brussels...  :-X

David Davis predicted right at the start of this process that the EU would take it right to the wire, as it's how they operate.  ::)

Extending for a month or two will make little or no difference. Think 2 years.

By which time we will have a new PM and a new government. A second vote is likely and.......... :-X

If we don't leave on the 29th March I doubt we ever will.

If we do leave on march 29th  it will be with sort sort of watery Brino. Chosen because a proper 'no deal' brexit has put the shits up people.

We have already been delivering stuff because of Brexit,,, but the stoopid idiots haven't realised, that the product is made in England, and all the ingredients are English.

We have been (trying to) stockpiling staff... several of our Eastern European contingent are heading home in the next fortnight. Most of the Portuguese mafia (most of Madeira seems to work at Gatwick) are staying though.

Of course, it just so happens that March 29th is two days before the summer schedule starts :D Lots of overtime this summer 8)

Theresa May has been stockpiling sofas in the DFS sale , she is the  only person ever to have negotiated the full price on them. Very pleased she is too.
