Bicester bud,
in that case nmake sure you fill filter with fresh fuel and it must be full, and fit as soon as you get old one off,if you have brake pipe clamps clamp both lines before you remove old filter, they are a bitch to start if it has time to drain back after removal, often requiring a tow to get them going

It's a bog standard service. Stop worrying and get it done.

More worried about it's car that's actually nice and new and worth something.

Not like my rusty old barge of an Omega  :D
It's around the same year as mine, I think? WBAC reckon mine is worth £6000.

£7000 is you can remove the acrid aroma of whippet piss.

Sure that's for 2.0 CDTi? Why brake lines?  :-\

Shows straight replacement, then prime it 3-4 times and it's good to go.

Brake line clamps - on the flexi fuel lines to stop fuel loss, I imagine is what he meant ;)

(Brake line clamps being kind to hoses, rather than mole grips ;D)

Ah true, but the video's I've looked at all suggest just removing the screw to let it drain, then take filter out.

Nothing about clamping the fuel lines.

A tow wouldn't work on Tunnie's auto.  :)

Anything you can do to keep air ont of the fuel system is a good thing.

They're only bits of plastic. Buy some for your toolbox.

It's a service on a Zaffy. No need to overthink it.

Just get on with it. :)
