finally back in a mig
« on: 11 July 2009, 23:11:49 »

ive really missed my CDX, even my 270bhp T5 did,nt take my mind off it.
but after looking for the right car for a couple of weeks ive just bought one today.
travelled 90 miles down to stoke to look at one from the autotrader site and parted with some cash.

its a W,2000 facelift estate, 3.0L auto ELITE in metalic black.
134K, FVSH to date, leather and fully loaded with absolutely everything (and they work)
full taxed and tested and i,d say an almost immaculate car.
professionally tinted windows in limo black, a little illegal but very smart looking.
ive got no pics yet but its getting delivered on thursday so i,ll post some asap.
i,m a very happy boy (again) and glad to be back.
i still cant believe what ive just payed for a 9yo £30K+ car, seems unreal.

its also got an interesting history that was quite a shock to come to terms with.

any ideas???   :o

Used to service one... They like them because with the seats down it's plenty big enough and less conspicuous than a van :y :y

well its definately big enough to lay down in the back  ::)
i think a fully loaded 3L is a bit over the top for that sort of use though  ;D
even has heated rear seats, ive not had that before, is that a rare option or what?  :P

i did think that as i was driving down to view it, wierd smells and carpet stains  :-/
but as it happens the interior is totally unmarked and smells like new  ;)
would anyone on here have a problem with knowing what its been used for?  :o
i really love this car but i,ll not be looking in the rear-view mirror at night  ;D

as you know i,m a compulsive car buyer and get bored very quickly.
in 15 years of driving i,m now on my 20th but now i,m (supposed to be) settling down (again!!!)
after loads of vauxhalls, alfas, fiats and a volvo ive decided on another mig.
all have been great cars but nothing else has really come close to the feeling i get from the big vaux  :y
