Title: Huawei staff
Post by: STEMO on 06 July 2019, 07:02:18
It appears quite a few of huawei's employees started life working for government security agencies. Who'd have thunk it  ::)

But's OK as they'll only be providing the non critical parts of our 5G networks.  :y

Don't you read the newspapers?  ;D

The little I know and understand of modern technology, coupled with all the reports from people in the know, suggests all out telecommunications are so highly vulnerable to cyber attack of some form or another, we will NEVER be able to rely on it.

Who, and what, is employed by companies like this will actually make little difference, especially if the intelligence authorities monitor it closely, like keeping Boris away from highly classified national security documents!!

Like the internet and the massive flow of data to the huge storage and processing facilities in the States and elsewhere, which rely on under the sea cables to transfer it all backwards and forwards, or whatever it does, it can be physically attacked at anytime.  That may not be from humans either, as already there has been a massive undersea avalanche that destroyed all the cables, condensed together, in a canyon that they passed through that caused a worldwide outage a few years back.  No doubt the tech guys on here will know all about that ;)

If true this is both amusing and worrying.

However, I'm sure that Boris is the soul of discretion.........not. ;D

I imagine the first conversation Boris has with the North Korean leader as PM will start with " I shouldn't really tell you this but".......... ;D

Yep, we can all forget about our "National Security" with him as PM.  He will cause so many diplomatic 'incidents', and even cause us to start a war, that he will make our beloved Trump look like a very sound President! :D :D ;)

We can't have a war. Think of the global warming.

Ah, but looking at it the other way round, a war would resolve all our worries about that...............and everything else like electric cars!! ::) ::) ;D ;D ;)

Boris seems to 'flit' from one thing to another. He is well known for having the attention span of a 6 year old.

I think he will struggle. He'll be bored shitless within 20 minutes of meeting any foreign leaders so he'll probably tell them all about defence policy in case of war to brighten things up.  ;)

Funny how this story was released just as Conservative members were getting their ballot papers....  ???  ::)  ;)

Yes just a coincidence. No one behind the scenes pushing for May in trousers.

1. Boris as mayor of London won two elections against the odds.

2. Had a very successful 2012 Olympics.

3. Significantly reduced violent London crime.

4. Was instrumental is getting a Leave majority in the EuRef.

5. Has worked very hard on the setting up of successful London tech hubs which has attracted significant overseas investment.

6. Judge has confirmed that the Boris bus £350 gross figure was correct (we know retrospectively it is actually £363m). His trolling over making and painting wooden busses out of wooden wine cases was excellent. ;D ;D ;D

And the best thing of the lot is all the left wing luvvies like Lizzie hate him. :y :y :y

That is the thing, my inclination is to be right wing, and that means being ruthless with people like Boris who, no, I do not like at all because of his ability to bluff, huff, and gaff, with even those who have been close to him on a working basis saying he is a liar that cannot stand close scrutiny. >:(

As for "his" achievements, they are down to others, with him taking the credit, true of course of many politicians.

Anyway, time will tell and as I have openly stated before, I hope I am wrong.  For God sake I have just got to be wrong, or heaven help us all!! :D ;)

I get the feeling that Boris will be Trump's poodle in much the same way that Blair was Bush's submissive bitch.

At least Hunt, with an 'H' ::) ::) has been wiling to tell Trump to 'go f*uck himself' over this diplomatic spat. :)

Only because he'll be back on the back benches before long!  ::)

I agree.... ;D If he actually thought he might win he'd be more careful.
