LeMans 2007
« on: 10 October 2006, 17:49:08 »

Anyone up for the trip next year. I went a few years ago and it was fantastic but if anyone is interested we will have to be quick as the tickets sell out very quickly. I think it will cost with four people to a car about £180 per person. That includes Ferry,Camping and race ticket (I travel Portsmouth to Caen)The dates of the race are 16/17 June but I would go on the wednesday midnight sailing and come back on Monday afternoon. Its cheaper on the ferries :y

To be honest its probably to late now for tickets, they sell out within a couple of weeks of going on sale but if you go on www.beermountain.com website you get people selling the odd ticket. The tickets go on sale in June so I will revive this for the 2008 race :y

I went for a walk around there last year and to see what was on the track and there was one car - a Renault Twingo LOL

Ah, wee wee!

I should go someday, but may be too old.  :-/  Went to Petit LeMans once.  That was cool.  Next year it's all about the Diesels.  Will be strange.

Trains may have been invented here, but public transport is a foreign concept!
