Replaced the rear donut bushes with polys  :y :y

While the back end was in pieces ......
Attacked the rear chassis / wheel arches with a wire wheel on the drill to get any rust off.
Gave everything a good dose of Krust then blathered everything in black chassis paint  :y
Evened up the handbrake via those little hidden wheels which I can never remember which way to turn  :-[
Gave all the brake pipes a good rub down then sprayed even more white grease on them  ;)

Replaced passenger door latch/locking motor in the Jag. Took pics this time and did a guide for one of the Jag forums...  ...not that they have a section for guides, probably because all Jags come with a little man in the glovebox that "just sorts everything out".

Clearly, my man is missing :D

On the big more UK focused Jag site ;)

Can't be arsed with the more Yankee orientated ones (and struggle with the UK one a lot as well), as standard answer is "take it to dealer".

My experience with Jag dealers is approximately the same as with Vauxhall dealer service departments. IE, shit. Worse than shit.  Clearly this week, whilst it was in there, one of there saleman went out for an extended lunchbreak in it. self-abusers.

But you wouldn't be so retarded as to take it to a dealer anyway ;)

Against my better judgement. But it was a recall that only a dealer can officially do :(

Replaced headlight level adjustment blocks. Both were broken from body, ball joints were intact. Maybe somebody tightened them too much or something.. Easy job, took maybe 1 hour (never done this before).

Could not contact the guy who advertised aluminium blocks here, so I got these instead.

Make sure you run a tap into the thread to clean up swarf from machining before fitting,as set I used the thread got stripped on first assembly and required dismantling again .

Also worth running a flat file over all edges as unlike the aluminium ones they are not too smooth from the moulding process. :y
