2.6CD 2001 Omega Estate spares or repair
« on: 17 July 2018, 19:41:23 »

As above. New starter motor, new alternator, adjustment pulley and belt. Recent cambelt change approx 15000 miles ago.
172000 miles
Running rough, think it needs a new coil pack. Needs two new front tyres and tracking done. Has a MOT about 3 months ago. Oil changed every 5000 miles. No visible rust but bodywork is slightly marked and lacquer slightly peeling on bonnet. It also has rear sunblinds as advertised on TV where they clip into place allowing windows to be lowered without having to remove.
Looking for around £400.00 for car as is or if you need parts you will have to come and get them as I can't be arsed getting my hands dirty then having to post.

Aren't most gearboxes silver? Well at least at one time.

This car will be scrapped at the end of the month. It is fixable and could make a decent motor for someone. Would hate to see it scrapped as it has been a decent motor.

I will be removing the Irmscher backbox and new alternator before scrapping this car. Also the shades which are excellent quality and made to fit all rear windows will also be available. Car will be scrapped shortly as taking up space in driveway. Make me an offer for parts.

Fair enough. When I actually get around to removing some parts I will put prices up. For a start the sunshades are easy to remove. Only been on the car for a month and cost £75.00 new. Would like £50.00 for them. These are excellent quality and made to fit an Omega Estate incorporating all the rear windows.

Now selling the car for £300.00 complete and running but rough idling. Currently has an MOT. Think it runs out around April time but not to sure but will check.
