The "athletes"from around the world have gathered and been going through their final training/preparations ahead of this weekends world championship contest.The defending champion is British and he's won the title three times thus far.Yes folks we're talking of that huge "sport" Thumb Wrestling :D :D ;D There are even full time professionals :o :o

It showed some of the "training" on the news this morning,this seemed to consist of a tiny dumbbell type of thing with a crooked connecting bat to fit over/around the end of the tumb[although it didn't mention how heavy the weights on the ends were]and flicking thumbs at a miniature punching bag which was on a small stand on a table top.Proper athletes these guys you know ;D ;D
