Code 0335 after Crank sensor change
« on: 20 August 2012, 11:40:55 »

Big bus broke down on sat. Just cut out. Did pedel trick and came up with 0335.
Restatred afer 10 mins but died again after 3 mins.
Got recoverd home and have replace the crankshaft sensor..(Genuine Vauxhall).
Car now runs fine but when I do pedel trick I still have 0335.
Put code reader on and nothing showing.(Car is 2.6 face lift.)
Anybody know if the 0335 will clear after a while.
Cheers

I think it will autodelete when the fault is no longer about, that said I have seen plenty with a not present crank sensor code stored.

Strange that the reader doesnt see it....did it when the fault was present?

Thanks for the Reply Jimbob,
No there was nothing showing when the car would not start and the check lamp was not on.
Code reader an Autel maxiscan MS509 and have used it to find a MAF fault previouly

there are a lot of cloned maxiscans around, and they seem unreliable.  the genuine ones do get most codes.
