Soon 'no deal' will be removed from the equation and we will have the Brexit the EU wants.

Anything with 'the customs union' or 'a customs union' is not Brexit.

Won't save jobs at Honda. That decision was probably made a couple of years ago should the profitability drop below a predetermined level.

Unite will obviously blame Brexit as the alternative would mean admitting that they have nailed yet another workforce to the wall in the name of rights.

From what I understand there is a new Civi in 22 model year (which will launch in 2021).....this new Civic is not being built in Swindon.

Be interesting to see if the Component facility in Belgium is affected (or even if its still manufacturing).

Its not made sense for a while as the Civics were a kit of bits from across the globe (including Europe) given the falling volumes

Steel making, chemicals, cement, bricks & glass along with much manufacturing are high energy users and the UK & EU high prices, rare amounts climate fraud approach to energy prices, not to mention plant foot licences on top, so most high energy manufacturing has moved or is in the process of moving to Asia & the US which have cheap coal & gas prices & use them for cheap electricity.

Europe has a choice it can be green & poor or not quite as green & rich. They are currently hell bent on the former driven by the large German green movement. Australia has seen the light on this with the biggest reserves of coal in the world and in South Australia the most expensive global electricity prices and regular grid collapses when the wind doesn't blow or it is the wrong sort of wind (too strong) now being curtailed. Sensibly Australia is now going back to their abundant natural resource coal and the building of the latest much cleaner exhaust scrubbing coal power stations. :y :y :y
