Yep, it it's not a phone, "cordless" is the route to much frustration. ;D
Unless it's fuelled by petrol...
True. I'm not sure a 2 stroke hoover is the answer either, mind. ;D

Most recent info says that RB excluded Adrian Neweys salary from the calculations because they claim he isnt an employee, but a contract worker.

Who happens to be the previous owner of Mrs. KW's MX-5.

Given that Nord stream was essentially a way for Russia to sell gas to Germany unimpeded by Ukraine, it doesn't seem rational for Russia to shoot themselves in the foot and blow it up.

Then again, they don't appear to do rational these days. :-X

Maybe it's just the US putting a seal on the EU's resolve to wean themselves off Russian gas. ;)

.. or Putin sending a message that that shiny new pipeline from Norway might not be immune from interference.

I'll be paying around £4,500, assuming we don't switch stuff off and the Mrs stops getting baths every farts end. Manageable but, as you say, ouch!

Depends on the level of confidence, but sometimes unavoidable, I find. :-X

Every one I've ever seen has had the same skf bearings, GM or pattern. Really no reason not to just fit a pattern kit.

The late Queen even was involved in the designing of the Jaguar hearse (what a beautiful car!) so that when she, and her descendants are taken in funeral Ceremonies the great openness, and good lighting, encourage people to see what they want to see.

Yes, I was glad to see they ditched that nasty Merc at Edinburgh. :y

That implies that BL actually designed anything :D

.. and Lotus, for that matter. ;D

My mate also has an immaculate MG Midget only got in it once took me several minutes to get out of it ! I had to hold my legs tight against me as I could not get my feet through the door opening didn't realise how tiny they are.

A mate had an Elan +2 ..... I got in the back, but had to crawl out of it on my hands & knees!  ;D

In 1974 I had an Escort Mexico my mate had just snatched back a Lotus Elan, we decided to drive down to Brighton for the evening I couldn't believe how quick that Lotus was I just about kept up with it.

That's what happens when it's designed as a sports car rather than a sinkhole for bits cluttering up the BL parts bin. ;D

Quite like the old MGC. Not many around.

Probably a sack of shit to drive  but nostalgia should cover any defects. :)

I've been helping a neighbour sort out his V8 MGB recently. That was quite fun to drive until we hit the first roundabout. ::)

Then I had a flashback to my Morris Ital ownership. >:D

.. and that's for the criminals the Police can actually be @rsed to send to jail, which isn't a high proportion, apparently. ::)

Have Morgan progressed to bigger, SUV, models?

My daughter has just ordered from an MG dealership a big SUV, with all the extras.  I remember when we loved the sports MG’s, in all their simple glory.  By coincidence, out side my doctors the day before an old geezer, of about 90, drove up in a pre1963 MG Midget.  What a blast from the past that was! ;D

The SUV reflects nothing of that basic heritage, apart from the MG badge. It is impressive though for the price :D ;)

Moving to an SUV is never progress, nor is it conducive to it. ;).

The age probably doesn't matter, given I've spent a lot of the summer underneath a far more recent model, and its built in exactly the same way as they were 100 years ago.  Only now, they usually have 4 wheels.

.. and less woodworm. ;)

I think you are right. Whoever wins will have a poison chalice. Labour will get in at the next election. Then lose the following election. Tories will then be in for the rest of most of our lives assuming we are still here after WW3
The national debt will take generations to pay back. never be paid back.

Fixed that for you Al.  ::)
That's why we need all this inflation. If you can't pay it back, inflate it away until it's insignificant. ;D
