No, that's the insignia.

Doesn't the Insignia have more in common with the steaming richard the dog has just deposited? ;D

I don't think the Insignia is quite as attractive or fragrant as your description suggests, Kevin.

The good news is this makes the model undesirable and therefore inexpensive. :y

Being blind would also help but this may cause problems for other drivers. :)

True enough, and, in this automotive desert, that might make it worthy of consideration as an Omega successor if nothing else floats my boat by then. After all, you don't have to look at the @rse end of it from the driver's seat. ;)

If only I were worthy of even aspiring to Signum ownership. :(

 ;D

Signum ownership is an aspiration for the select few. Rumour has it that less men have walked on the moon than have driven the mighty Signum. :)

A car 'created' by highly-skilled individuals wearing brown overalls complete with a selection of pencils and a slide rule in their top pocket. :)

It belonged to Ronnie Barker from 'Open all hours'...... :y

I could be wrong but didn't Buzz Aldrin drive a Signum? 8)

Incidentally...........there are a number of well balanced individuals from the 'flat earth society' who say the moon landings were faked. :)

I was seriously thinking of an Austin Healey 3000 in metallic blue & cream had one lined up but the trip in the V8 MGB has put me off completely, got some spare cash from house sales so could afford up to around £40,000 if something really caught my eye .

I have heard it said that the heat in the AH 3000 can get quite unbearable, and it's not from the heater. It's the heat soak from the engine/gearbox/exhaust,lovely looking things though :y I much prefer classic cars to the modern stuff but it should be remembered they were of their time so modern perceptions of comfort speed etc. need to be adjusted to suit.

Plenty of choice at that price point. :y

How about the 1990's AC with the Mustang V8? Only about ninety made in total and possibly/probably a good future investment.

£35000 should do it. :y

The V8 seriously compromises the Alpine(an MGB competitor) that the car was 'developed' from.

Lotus Carlton or Chevette HS would tempt me at that budget.

Only plod got standard Xenons and have only seen one Vectra C with adaptive forward lighting... ( a £1k option which the car should have had as standard, but because it cost a grand, no one ordered it ::))... And that was a base model estate :o
