I probably should think about doing the cambelt on the Battlebus (and overgrown Astra-G), as no history of its cambelt being done in the last 16yrs/125k.


Now seeing as that nice DTM fella was heard mumbling "I hate this f****** car" at the Battlebus, I wonder if he fancies the challenge ;D

Whilst on the subject of cam belts, Jaime.... mines due in 2019. Do you fancy a few notes in your sky rocket? I値l do strip down and everything. Just need the belt fitting.

Local Indy just quoted 189 inc VAT and the waterpump :y
Mates rates for the 1.8 petrol was 」100 six years ago, so I would say 」189 is a decent price  :y

Cambelt done and dusted with water pump for the agreed price.  Car now no longer smokes on cold start and has more power/pickup.  I'm guessing that the timing was slightly out beforehand.
