Terrorism

We seem to have found a good way of getting rid of terrorists, let them out early,  follow them, shoot them. I’m up for that👍👍👍

Although one of the armed response drivers might be back on foot patrols this week. He drove his new BMW through a garden wall and totalled it, a mile before reaching the incident.

On the BBC it has been said the undercover police armed response unit was on top of the situation very quickly, within seconds, because this guy was under close surveillance. ;)

Many questions therefore will be asked............... :P :P

Fortunately, they aren't allowed to shoot people until they have just cause.

However, it is the nature of these nefarious types that they will certainly step out of line. No harm in being 'just around the corner' when they do ;)

The only negative is that for this to work, innocent people need to become victims first. It's a fine balance, but better than police being able to shoot on a whim...

We don't have the right to bear arms, so the legal approach to armed police here is a very different one...

Open prejudice notwithstanding  ;)

Well it’s a good job they were ‘just around the corner’ or who knows how many more would have been injured/ maybe killed? Shooting him dead was the only and correct action imho, better him than innocent people.

If they had to monitor him so closely then he shouldn't have been let out!  >:(

Unfortunately the Labour Government set up the system to release all prisoners at the half-way point of their sentences... now if that was for financial or "luvy dovey" reasons I have no idea .. but the Courts, the Prison Service, and to a large extent, the Probation Service, have absolutely no way of changing it ... it is the Law.

Unfortunately they don't listen to the Prison Officers that deal with these people day in day out, they jump through all the hoops that are set for them whilst serving their sentence & off they go to offend again. Unless the people up top "grow a set" this type of incident will continue.
