front flexi brake pipe clips
« on: 09 September 2020, 12:26:48 »

The ones that secure the flexi to the strut
Need a couple of these and a track rod end for a MOT ticket.

Am I right in thinking that these are just a service part and one off any make or modal of car will fit ?

TIA  :)

They vary, but they're cheap enough not to lose sleep over.

TRE shouldn't be more than a tenner  ;)

I know Ford Focus ones are different to the Omega ones, so possibly best to try VX/breakers :-\

Otherwise you could spend a lot more time/money than necessary...

I'll give VX a ring tomorrow and try not to laugh / cry.
Only got Sunday to sort it before it runs out next Wednesday.
Working every other day so won't get time to tour the scrappys  :(

probably easier to take the hose into a local factor. Less time/hassle and you only want half a dozen of them

Don't really want to pull the flexi off TBH
Its sat in the brackets on the B4 struts but both sides clips have gone walk about when I changed the springs earlier this year.

It's not difficult to make them out of some 1.5mm round steel wire, curved around the groove and tabbed over the edge will keep the flexis in place.

That works too. I would have lock-wired them in place and been driving the car long ado.

Cable ties would probably do as a short term repair.

Stuck eibach springs on it back in march in the rain and finished it by torch light.
