Unbelievable Sparks

I've always said that there are some sparks at work that I wouldn't trust to wire a plug .... this is the proof.
Very long story short .... a hoist needed wiring up and a temporary supply to feed it. Some numpty wired a socket to it instead of a plug so the obvious solution  was  ....

The In-Laws had an extension with a 13A plug on each end to "charge the caravan"

I had to intervene  ;D

it's surprising how often you see things done wrong ,when you know how to do it right  :D

it's surprising how often you see things done wrong ,when you know how to do it right  :D

I'd have thought that EVERYONE knows not to put a plug on either end of a cable  ;)

I once hired a 40 kVa generator that was delivered with a male 32A 3 phase commando plug on the end. Guy had started it up, while I was holding the plug in my hand looking confused, before I gently put it back on the ground and asked him politely to stop the generator again and come spot the deliberate mistake. :o
