Ah, EPC3 overcomes that problem - I'm surprised they haven't sent you the updated version yet, seeing as they automatically post out new versions. Or did you let you subscription lapse?

Looks like 24416110 but would need you to check if it is this gasket (difficult to work out exactly from diagram)

I feel bad now suggesting you bought this. I will offer to do the decent thing and buy the project car off you - at my price of course!

 ;D ;D

Don't think £1.50 would cover my costs!  ;) ;D

Seriously though it is a bit shabby, and a lot more work than the first one. But could not have known all its problems before seeing it.

I doubt i will make a loss on it, my costs have been very low. It even had half a tank of fuel in it when i bought it!

Cause its Sept 1st & Reg change i think the DVLA are busy, but as soon as i get the Log Book its going on AT...

However the gearbox syncromesh is buggered as well i think, change gear at high revs in 2nd and the car lerchs forward and you hear some horrible sounds!  :'(

Still got some good points, though, Leather, Manual, Estate. So i reckon someone will buy it.... i just won't make much money.

Tunnie. No offence mate mate, but what are you playing around at??

Be business minded. It is old and needs a lot of work to make a decent car again.

This is a car you break!

You make some money and you move on.

Stop wasting time doing anything else!

No offence taken dave, its just other issues in the way.

1) Time - I leave for Uni this time next month. My dad does not want his side of the garage full of bits when i go
2) Stripping - I can't strip a car in anyware near the time Fin has done, would take me a long time to strip it down.
3) More Time - Then I have to sell all the bits off, again would take a while
4) MOT & Tax - Its Tax'ed & MOT'd until December, which means it should sell. As I said in a PM to Fin - I almost sold it last week, fact that I did't have the log book it fell though

My downpipe gasket wasn't in bad shape so that didn't actually need replacing either.

I'm not sure the coolant pipe really has to come off - Haynes says so, but it looks like you could leave it in place.

BTW - I'm half talking from experience, I've just done the drivers side, but failed on the passenger side because a nut rounded off.
