EML Stays On Engine Runs Slackish
« on: 20 February 2012, 20:15:35 »

Hello you good looking ppl :D lol

Basically over the last 2 days ive noised my eml has decided to stay on... but as the car is still running i don't see it it been a big problem...

but i have noised that there are tremor like systems when driving along. earlier i started her up and to my delight it turned off when driving it felt like there was a spring in its step felt much better, sadly soon as i turned off and returned with my take out it was back and same crappy systems appeared again.

i have a hunch that its a lambda sensor but want to see what ppl say first thanks for your feedback :)

13 Oxygen sensor Open circuit

your lambda dont turn any signal to ECU..

check wiring first..

never seen a completely dead lambda (ie no signal)..  even very old lambdas after heat up , they return signals.. :-\

but for your info, recommended life for lambdas 100 K kms  after that period they slow down and degrade performance..

so first check the sockets and wiring imo..

code 13 is not crank sensor.. but if its limiting the revs, thats another problem..
