Hi, Yet another 'newbie'
« on: 12 October 2006, 12:58:54 »

Hi, what a great forum. Only just discovered you. I am an escapee from the vauxhall owners network forum which had suddenly lost a number of the regular contributors (wondered where some of you had disappeared to!!!).

I drive two omegas, a 98 2.5 Elite in perfect nick and only 40K miles on the clock and the leather hardly creased and a 99 2.5 CDX with 50K miles which I have owned since new and which has slowly been converted to the Elite spec over the years.

Just finished fitting the Xenons (complete with self leveling equipment) and the leather interior with memory functions etc)

Both cars have never let me down but that is probably due to the fact I do all my servicing myself inluding the dreaded cam belt change but you are never too old to learn new tricks (I do let Vauxhall's do an annual oil change so I can get a  stamp in the servic history) . Found the 'How To..' sections really useful. Keep up the good work.

Welcome.

Given some of the mods you have done maybe you will be able to add to the maintenance guides/how to section
