« on: 11 February 2015, 01:29:28 »
Hi Andy,

I would say how sort term are you thinking ??
Its common if the breather system is blocked or needs a good clean.
Yes its a case of replacing the gasket and small o'ring seals and cleaning the breathers out.

There is a how to in the how2 section I'm sure some with more info than me will be along to say more or even put in a link to said how2.

Tigers Gonads has just asked the same question...

Benchmark is a similar set from ATP, also in Germany, you'll be looking at 20k miles as a target for the ATP ones... or about 19k more than Delphi ones ::)

Surely in my simple (slow-er) 2.2 I should get more....

No no mate you will have to change yours more frequent due to it being slower and taking more to get you anywhere. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hubcetric wheel spacers are ok , plenty use them on here  :-\

I thought that wobble bolts where safe just was not sure about spacers with them....I already have the spacers as well dam...will do a bit more digging and have a look at the hubs your talking about.....If its to risky then I will leave it but want to get as much info as poss...You see some of these stanced motors and I think how the hell did they get them rims out that far lol.

Serek has them on his , think he has a supplier that can have them made up  ;)

Oh great mite have to give a call then...I wanted to chat to him end of last year about some other stuff so mite have to pick his brains  ;D ;D.  Do you mean the hubs that bolt to the car and then you bolt the wheel to that ???

geat project  :y :y

Thanks Sew :y It's funny to think that I bought the car over four and a half years ago! Then again, £500 for a six-year-old MV6 kitted out with a load of Irmscher gear and a stack of brand new genuine parts was impossible to ignore, even if I didn't have the time to do anything with it ;D

Lovin this....Hey if you ever come across an opel irmscher grill for a mini facelift and at a good price please let me know as your doing a great job of finding parts....I can't find a fart in a bucket lol not that you would want one. ;D ;D

Thanks matey. I'll let you know if I stumble across the part that you're after.

Great update - again.... Whats the oblong piece of bodywork underneath the lip spoiler...?

It's a dismembered facelift Cadillac Catera 'trunk' panel. More on that to follow in my next update.

.............hello again Dan, I've already told you that I like this thread and have meant to ask you frequently why none of the posts you made next door aren't on OOF......... Having seen you OOF name, I realise you've been on this forum for ages anyway. Keep the good stuff coming...... Matthew :y :y :y

Mr Corbeau!  ;D :D Thanks again for the encouraging comments. I hadn't been posting updates on OOF as this forum doesn't allow for the retrospective editing of posts (unlike ABS, MIGweb, CavMk3OC etc.). In retrospect, I don't think it's going to be as much of a concern as I first thought, although it would be a handy bit of functionality for admin to introduce anyway  ;) ;D

Thanks that would be great. :y :y

Hi All,
Right a few quick questions i have got some h&r spacers and i have seen a nice set of wheels but they are 5x112 so will need wobble bolts. Would this be o.k and also can i get wobble bolts that are that long i reckon it would be around 40mm bolts that i need.

Thanks for any advice guys.
