Good result then ,Tonka. :y

I found those quick release things slightly dubious at the best especially when its the depths of winter and all the pipes are rigid.Sure the new one will do the trick and pleased it sorted for you and hopefully not too expensive. ;D

The two pipes were £48 on TC. Expensive for what they are but I am a tight git ;D  :y

It was a good quality part took weeks to find a good one at a reasonable price  :y
Sounds much better now also, It also cured a noise from the back box area when it became hot  :)

For torque wrenches I used machine mart for convenience, can't remember the price but was a lot less than you've been quoted.

My estate went into the paint shop yesterday for its long awaited new paint job. Got funny looks from other road users as I drove it there with no trim, door handles or bumpers on it. Should get it back some time in August as I am not paying the full price so thats why it went in ready stripped. I have posted some pics on the ABS site as I,m no yet up to speed on using the photo bucket link.

Could always email them straight to me (or another willing volunteer) and I'll post them here for the non ABS members (like me).

Having said that I'm pretty sure posting them here is done the same way as there.   :-\
