Pretty much the same as me, then - firstly Bow, then East Ham.
She knows that she is gorgeous, so no point in telling her so, but as an actress she would love to hear how great you think her performances were; e.g. in The New Avengers? We are all cheeky Cockneys in the East End!  ;D

DG, it would be more beneficial if I went and sat in the House of Commons for a while, yes?
Thanks for your good wishes, Zirk, but sitting next to Joanne Lovely and all you could do was to steal her scones and cream? Well, really!  :-X

I've just come down with man flu, which as we now all know is by far the most virulent type on the planet.
Apparently, the only way to tone down the symptoms involves Joanne Whalley in a nurse's uniform, carrying a pot of cream!
I think it's available on the NHS..... :D

I've read unsubtle references on here to your Guy Fawkes Tribute act, but no details..... ???

Do you think that they are under such time pressure to complete all deliveries that they sometimes miss a few people out whilst claiming to have left a card?

I was towing with my Carlton and even after replacing the radiator I wasn't happy with the cooling, so I added a Kenlowe aftermarket fan: it fitted just in front of the radiator by means of some feed-through cable tie type clips. The temperature sensor for the fan was a bourdon tube placed into the radiator end of the top hose, driving a thermostat unit to select temperature.
Easy enough even for me to do!  :y

Ok Dave - you got me! Obviously, I used the term loosely, but I accept your correction.
Incidentally, you are right; sock changing is an annual event, along with bathing, whether needed or not.  :)

That might be too soon, Dave, I won't have turned them enough times by then!
Here's the guide: after repeatedly turning them (front to back, back to front....), throw them at the wall and if they slide down then there's more wear left in them. If they stick firmly, it may be time for fresh knickers?
Remember that clothing store, C&A? Their labels told you which way round to wear them: now that they have gone, we have to rely on the old way - yellow at the front, brown at the rear!  :y 8)

Speaking of the IOW, there's a double-decker bus that goes from Yarmouth to The Battery, way up above the Needles, via a narrow winding road. I
f you sit on the upper deck, front nearside seat, you appear to be suspended above the cliffs/sea - it's fresh underwear time, but a great thrill!  8) :o :y

Thanks gents, that's why I want to play with something non-critical first - my fingers are not of the delicate ladylike sort!  :(
