Tilbo, that thought was SO cringe-worthy - good job I wasn't eating when I read it! There ought to be  a smiley for chucking up!

How near to Witham (Essex) are you, Kate? Albs and I have had excellent service from Tyre-Smart with their Hunter full geometric alignment machine, using the WIM settings that I gave them, similar to what amba just said. :y

I suspected that it was just a rumour - not even a yank would be THAT stupid - but I wanted to believe it!  ;D

Hi Serek. As you might have read, I was going to combine curry night with asking you to carry out a full service on my car to save a double journey, but the logistic of that plan are dodgy, especially as 1st December is on a Saturday - early closing for you?
I'll PM you shortly to arrange the service, and I look forward to seeing you again.  :) :y

Hi Albs and thank you, that sounds like a great idea. I am likely to be going to the boot sale at Boreham on Sunday, so after that I could come to see you - some time after 10? Remind me where you work, please.

Yes Zirk, it extinguishes without any input from me, but my code reader cannot find any codes, stored or otherwise - which nis why I wondered if it was bozwonk?

Who would be your "John Major", Lizzie?
As TB's Minister for Transport, I would be happy to have you work with me to overhaul the rail network completely and make it fit for purpose.
How about adopting Brunel's 7' 1/2" gauge? A lot of work there!  :o :y

I will gladly sort out the mess, Varche, since I am the Transport Minister elect in TB's administration. Lizzie can be the "Edwina Curry" figure!  :y 8)

That might be the better way to put my EML light out, rather than moving it and welding? Where can I get a spacer or bender, please?

Nah, my mistake - it IS a 3 volt 2032 button cell. I was thinking of an older fob with a short and skinny 12 volt alkaline battery. Sorry!  :-[ :-[ :-[

Is the battery really a 3 volt one, Terry? I thought that they were usually 12 volts.
