Looking like we are in for quite a windfall from a relative who died a few weeks ago & left wifey a property in SW2 valued at around 400,000. We have had caravans for a number of years & always fancied a motorhome anyone on here up to speed on them ?

Came back from Sussex at the weekend noticed that the clutch was just starting to slip in 3rd gear under load, so now booked in at the dealership on Thursday for new clutch & dual mass flywheel, couldn't risk towing the caravan back so that's in temporary storage at Battle.

General Car Chat / What a job.
« on: 24 January 2019, 14:25:05 »
Let a very good friend borrow my Merc for his daughters wedding a couple of weeks ago, he noticed my clock was a few minutes fast ( never bothered me) so in the process of correcting it managed to change the language from English to German on the command system ! Easy enough to correct I thought , consulted the manual no joy after 90 minutes so googled the problem eventually got the answer from MB America owners the sat nav must be in the unit so all sorted now, but no mention of that in the command instructions.

General Car Chat / What a difference with these tyres !
« on: 26 December 2018, 21:01:03 »
Had a new set of tyres on the Terracan a few days ago always had Hankook from new couldn't get a set from my local tyre shop but was recommended Yokohama for around the same price ,all terrain all weather . They are far superior less road noise & the vehicle feels much more "planted" on the road surface plus a real chunkier look to the tyres , a good choice in my opinion.
