I cancelled a couple of DDs  years ago with BT & British Gas because they were totally inept at resolving problems we had at the time, received all kinds of letters asking for payment, in the end I contacted the Daily Mail money page who intervened on my behalf got an apology from BT & 25 compensation from British Gas, so stick to your guns  Opti crap service or no service means no payment in my eyes.😉

That white one wasn't lowered as I used it for work :y

Never been a fan of the cow catcher front lip on the black one.

Fwiw, the Irmscher stuff is made from the exact same material as the factory bits, unlike the God awful fiberglass shite that you can buy for the same money :o

What's your opinion of this...  ?

Aesthetically speaking ;)

That's better than the Omega , wheels are great would like a set for my E430, the interior of mine in plain grey leather looks much better.

Done right and they can look really good...

That one looks a bit cobbled together ;D

Just seem to look a bit of an afterthought , and with high kerbs etc going to catch all that low plastic or whatever it's made from always look tacky in my opinion.

I might be doing the equivalent of whizzing in the Holy Font of omeganess here but...

I really really dislike the look of that thing. The wheels, body kit, steering wheel all of it, it just looks cheap and nasty to me. Give me a plain old Elite any day,

*runs and hides before the flaming starts*

I'm with you: the Irmscher stuff always looked cheap and nasty to me. I was astonished how expensive it actually was.

Got to agree with you both it looks naff .☹️

Had a coupe & a 1.7 estate they were okay never gave any serious problems, swopped the estate for a Cortina Ghia estate which was without a doubt the worst car I've ever owned.

Absolutely I've 4 grandsons ranging in age from 15 down to 7 all have been out for a " spirited" ride in my Merc & they loved the noise & the seemingless endless amount of acceleration a  V8 gives, you can keep your awful looking Teslas boring & soulless, or any other electric offerings.

until the national grid is massively updated ,electric cars are not a viable option for most people

What makes you think that? The majoritypeople in the UK travel less than 10,000 miles per year or 192 miles a week. So even with a short range EV like mine, you would only have to charge it about once every 3-4 days...

Whether they make economic sense for most people is a whole different question. But its the same question you could ask about any new car.
The older my car gets, the more economic sense it makes to keep it. It runs great, but is worth less as a trade in each year.

Exactly & so true I can cruise around in my V8 Merc I owe nothing on it & it owes me nothing & still turns heads .

The BBC news earlier said that it was random attack and the woman didn't know her murderer.  :o

WTF is happening?  ???  >:(

The police nor the BBC can possibly know that for certain until they investigate further.  He was in her bedroom, so he could have been a burglar, or someone known to her. I hope the police establish soon who the person is in the CCTV footage they have.

Looking at the image released don't hold your breath.

8-month pregnant Stabbed woman's baby paramedics delivered has croaked in hospital.

Thought 'at least a life came from her death' but nope, two lives gone thanks to some mental who Police have arrested two, released without charge one and bailed the other, so who knows, he may never be caught at this rate.

Grew up around that area in the sixties used to be a lovely place to live , had to go down that we recently to make arrangements for a family members funeral it's like the Bronx now certainly would not stroll around there.

Keep every bill for our 3 vehicles never added them up the Hyundai Terracan has probably had the most money spent on it over the last 7 years the Scooby has cost peanuts over the last 2 years , the cheapest has been the Merc had it almost 4 years had 3 oil changes , two tyres & a new aerial rubber cone , and just to enhance the V8 burble custom built stainless steel exhaust system.😎
