No good for Stemo that. There's no room for his racing pigeons or the whippet and a couple of ferrets :D

General Car Chat / Rare sight indeed

Just getting home from dog walking and heard a fairly throaty exhaust note followed very shortly after by the sight of a K reg Marcos Mantis :o It looked to be in absolutely mint condition in a dark bronze colour  :y :y Not very common when new,I can't recall the last time I actually saw one even at a classic car show.

Well apparently the EU have said if they allow a short extension it would only be to 22nd May due to EU elections.

I think you'll find they're moist because they're wetting themselves laughing at it and you for owning such an awful car :P

The EU have always been in total control and basically none of our lot have had the bottle to tell them where to go.

This is very true Stemo and there are some very new cars that get listed in the classic section too.

A brake pipe[plus ends] is pretty much pennies.Cat back exhaust less than 100[if my saloon one is anything to go by]so it would be the welding that would be the killer for me on cost grounds, but if you can weld then it's basically a no cost option.Just leaves the questions;will a new exhaust cure the emissions problem?and how much do you like/how handy is the car?

That's the way :y Pace yourself :D ;D

According to one source at least the poll suggest that a second referendum would result in a remain decision-I'd still vote leave.I still think if there were a second referendum that it should not include the remain option, that question has been asked and answered but rather deal as it stands[however that may be at the time]or leave with no deal.

General Car Chat / Classic Omegas?

I see there are at present 3 Omegas listed in the classic car section of flea bay.Ones a 3.2 saloon that according to the write up has been subject of a write off in the past and has had a shed load of money spent on it in the last year and a half.Another saloon[2.5 Elite-facelift]looks to have been very well looked after and is low mileage and the third a '96 2.5TD Elite estate again a low mileage example[but expensive none the less] can't do links and I have no connection to any of these cars.

It would seem when she asks she has to specify short extension/long extension then the EU has to vote on whether to allow it to happen, but that'll be down to Germany telling them which way to vote.
