I've no doubt even my parents thought my tastes were at odds with their own thinking. But at least I was taught right from wrong and to say please and thank you-a practice I continue to this day and one I taught my own kids-and how it could get very painful very quickly if I ever dared to give my parents any "lip"

Must admit Stemo that I can tend to live in a dream world, you know one where parents take some kind of responsibility for their children and people still have manners and things like that.Reality these days is of course sadly different :'(

I had this problem a few years ago on my 3L fine when cold or even after letting it stand for half hour or so,but just sounded and acted like battery was flat when hot.In my case it turned out to be the crank sensor on its way out.At least I'm assuming that's what it was as from the time I replaced it[after it failed totally]the problem has not reappeared.

Should be required viewing for all these "snowflakes" so that they can see what was sacrificed in order for them to be serially offended by anything/everything.

Does make you wonder what world some people live in-it's certainly not the real one! Would they then go on to say that sniffer dogs rescue dogs etc would come into the same category?

I know quite a few people like their "cherished plates" or whatever term you wish to use but even though it might be quite special I think that the 460K recently paid for RR1 is still a bit extreme.

Many years ago Maureen and I both decided that there was nothing either of us really wanted or needed[that was sensibly in budget anyway]so we stopped buying each other presents...problem solved-and money saved :y Nowadays of course there's only me and Dog so I still don't have the problem.

It's not for a code reader[I wouldn't know what to do with one of those]just a whimsical idea I had that as long as it passes the M.o.T. I might buy a GPS HUD of which some are listed as for use with OBDI some for OBDII and others doesn't state either just that they plug into the cigarette lighter socket.
