I think I have a complete rear seat heater pad that I'm never, ever going to get round to fitting, should you go down the repair not replace option.  :y
Might not be suitable as facelift Fronts are variable...  :-\

Perhaps he is finding his feminine side following the Trump thigh stroking incident  ::)

Close shout :o

The heater can be disconnected at the plug next to/within the seat plug under the side trim. No dismantling required, but having the seat fully up and back helps access. Try not to disturb the two yellow plugs :y

MOT tomorrow. I only have one fog tail light coming on, offside. Is this correct or have I a dead bulb?
Astra H, this is correct. There may be a bulb fitted to the other side, as the light ecu uses these if the brake light bulbs fail... Certainly the case on the Vectra C.
You only need one fog light as long as it's on the centre line or to the right of it :y

A question regarding this.

Is there a difference in gears between manual or automatic transmissions.

I see that for 2.5 or 2.6 litre cars there are three different gears, 3.70, 3.80 or 4.22

I have found a couple of them on Swedish scrap yards but they are all from manual cars.
The lists also show that the 2.2 litre has the same gears.

Edit: I found on https://www.opel-infos.de/modelle/omega_b2.html that the 2.2 and 2.6 with automatic trans has the same gearing at 4.22. There are a few of them available here.

Thanks
3.2 auto should have a 3.9 diff ;)

.... sets rarely have 18mm, be it socket sets or spanners etc, as its a less common size.

Which is probably why Merc decided to use an 18mm headed bolt for my brake calipers .... just to bl**dy awkward . >:(

They also used a 7mm & a 9mm Allen key for the sliding pins on the calipers too .... WTF has a 9mm Allen key?  ???
::)

Have you changed the radio and did they work before?

Do they come on when you unlock the car?

Probably came ftom a Vectra C/Signum if the outer box was different. Almost certainly not paired to the head unit...

Does plugging it into a different vehicle without pairing render it useless. Permanently.?

The stupid rear overhang won't help either... It's traditional Cadillac though, long floppy boat that will eat miles doing the double nickel ;)

Looking underneath one, the STS seemed to be a clear relative of the VE Commodore, which makes it most unCaddy like to drive 8)

Does the gearbox have stand alone management  :-\

The V8 stuff is integrated into the engine ecu...

Obviously just bought to get the subsidies? :-\
Clearly, as tax efficiency is an effective way to protect profit, which is arguably the sole reason for being in business ::)

We only buy these things because they're foisted upon us. Change needs to start somewhere and it's clearly a bold step for a modest retailer... I bet the likes of Waitrose etc are wishing they had the balls to even suggest it...

The version i drive is definitely RWD.
Ah, ok, my mistake, I thought it was a reworking of the older STS ;)

RWD doesn't help the looks though :D
