All interesting information and with seeing other reviews I am still looking at options. :y

Little things like the umbrellas in the doors impress me, (it does not take a lot)  ::)

Marshalls have a Sportline on offer with the Panoramic roof and the winter kit fitted.  so after wondering what other options they offer I went on the car configuration on their site and see they have HUD and a few other options. Color options, some good but the Red, Silver and Grey were the only ones that caught my eye, The one i mentioned earlier is black and looks stunning, but they are are sod to clean.

Still cant decide on Diesel verse PHEV. then with the other thread Do I buy it or lease it, I think if I lease I want the option to buy .  As Tunnie says its down to costing /taes etc, This will be a company car if I do go for it.

Is Skruntie a yank? ;)

Well we know Americanisms grip Andy Beanz's shit, and I've noticed that people are saying Caribbean more these days rather than the proper Carabbean, which is annoying.  ::)

.....
She was invited to a local old folks care home for a Christmas knees-up but declined the offer as ‘It will be full of old people’. She was 91 at the time.  ;D

My Mum's 'Auntie' did similar .... she was around 100 at the time & was eventually persuaded to go into an old folks home. She stayed there for a matter of weeks before she went back home .... same reason, it was full of old people.  ;D ;D
She very nearly saw 3 centuries, born back end of the 1800s & died about 1998

Just replaced the brake pads on the mighty 84bhp Smart 451 ....  ::) and noticed that the 2 slider pins on the calipers are different from each other .... there's a little black plastic/rubber 'seal' at the end of one of them.
Anyone any ideas?  :-\

2 years ago we travelled to London from Manchester. Each ticket was almost £40 each way (off peak) far easier than driving & no parking at the other end. That was the 1st time I'd been on a train though for years other than the tram into or from Manchester.

..... because they can't tell the difference between the pedal in the middle and the pedal on the right. >:D

My Dad's cars have only had the 2 pedals for the past 40 Plus years .... 1 for each foot  :y :y

.... One of the very few advantages of age. :y
 .....

but then they get you when you get very old. My Dad's (he's 88 next month) insurance for his Chrysler Grand Voyager was around £1500 last year.

But that's only a couple of years pay at best .... so it won't last long.

....

As it only cost £3750 I suppose there was extra money left over for tyres and petrol (lots of it) >:D

You say "only" £3750 ..... but 4 years earlier my parents "only" paid £2200 for their 3 bed semi house  ;)

Drove it to Guildford and back, now got a sore throat from calling many other drivers some unique names. Mostly Merc drivers, obviously, but the odd JLR and the obligatory Pug and Honda idiots.

 :o :o :o ::)
Every other car in these parts are Mercs, and all driven like a noughties bow....

but they're mostly fwd cars & 'bought' on a 4 yr lease  ;)

Lee Mack is very quick witted, when he and David Mitchell get started on each other it's very funny.

Agreed. Polar opposites too .... David is a pretty 'posh' southerner compared to Lee, the rough 4rsed northerner. I'm not sure that David always gets the joke when Lee is taking the p***  ;D ;D

Can't stand Norton but has had some pretty good guests over the years.
