Was down near our local store not long ago and there was a young lass pulling/pushing/twisting the front wiper blade on a Jag XF trying to work out how to remove it from the car while a young lad[the second half of the "fitting" team]was laying wiper blades out on the floor[out of their packaging] to be ready to compare with the removed one-if she ever managed to remove it!!

Too be fair, changing windscreen wipers is often akin to doing the Krypton Factor!  ::)  :D

Labour are now promising free broadband for all and are going to make big tech companies pay for it. The old trick of buying votes with other peoples money.
Don't suppose they have considered that the tech companies will just move out of the UK and lots of people will lose their jobs.
Anyone who votes for a bunch of terrorist supporting Marxists, just to get free broadband shouldn't be allowed to vote.

This happened yesterday and is just gold!  ;D

when buying tyres what rating is the best to get for regular motorway usage. its been suggested " V " , advise pls  :y

V speed rating is 149mph.  If you drive faster than that Ray, then go higher W 168 mph or Y 186 mph.   ::)  ;D

I had to laugh at Faceache yesterday.. two posts in a row - one from one friend sharing a joke about how Labour will ruin the country, followed immediately on the same page by another friend sharing a Labour advert saying how Tories will ruin the country and only Corbyn can save us. Oh, how I laughed.

My Faceache becomes more of a party political broadcast at times, mostly by shouty lefties and Scotnats.  ::)

It can be good fun at times though as they usually get quite upset if you challenge them.  Poor loves!  ;D

My house has a void underneath and they've chewed a hole through the concrete block wall and shining a torch through the hole there is a tunnel which goes out under the patio...  ::)

Glad this topic has come up .. there’s a rat in my kitchen what am I going to do?

Get a trap!  :y  Mind your thumbs though!  ;D

Put peanut butter on the trap. Most rats cant resist it.

Yes that's what I have been using.  :y

However,  the clever little bastards were managing to lick it all off without springing the trap!  ::)  So now I push a lump of lard onto the bait prongs and put a blob of peanut butter on top.  :y

When setting a rat trap, don't hold it at the bait end once you've pulled back the arm and set it.  :y

Because it oppsing hurts if it accidentally goes off and gets your thumb!  ::)  :'(  :D
