V701 UAT my old 3.0 Elite with factory gas, She was a beauty and I sold her to a young guy on here some years ago who was over the moon with her. Sadly a drunk driver rear ended it outside his house and destroyed it. I still have insurance headaches years later as I was somehow tagged to it on the insurance register and the other cars it bounced off tried to claim from me

General Car Chat / Re: Cars sold on facebook

I recently sold a really tidy Fiesta, ebay classified at 15 resulted in plenty of silly offers, Autotrader at 35 resulted in literally bugger all, Facebook marketplace and I was deluged with enquiries and it sold easily from one of these

I did similar and found that the ignition switch wasn't in the right position to receive the new barrel so having tried to force I cracked the same piec, long thin screwdriver helped reposition it

You have very strangely shaped arms  ;D

I've got some calipers from a low mile DTI which are the same as V6, carriers are likely the same across the range anyway, pm me if still in need

Every box I've pulled from manual:

2.0 pet
2.2 Pet/Diesel
2.5 Pet
2.6 Pet
3.0 Pet

has been marked R25-28 ? Regardless they are tough buggers and have took some serious power

Just a point of order there are only 2 manual gearbox types fitted to petrol Migs, R25-28 and the super rare unicorn that is the R30, I've never seen one but believe it simply is an R25-28 with shot peened gearsets

I have a facelift one, not sure they would be different ?
