Understood, Lizzie: I only wanted a spade but when told I could have two spades or a fork instead, I was delighted - not bad quality, either.
Probably won't last the 50 years that my old one lasted, but I may not, either! ;D

.....this strange retail pricing stratagem. Our local Poundland has spades and forks marked as "5, or 2 for 5".
The staff declared it crazy, too! ??? ??? ???

What is Nature's intention, making something so scorchingly hot that it is virtually impossible to eat? The pepper seeds need to pass through intestines of animals to distribute them over a wide area to propagate the plants, and such heat makes that unlikely!

I've ridden half-a-Vincent, the 500cc Comet, and that was enough for me!  :-[

Mr. Blue, please report to the Detention Room after school and write out these lines 500 times:-

"I must pay attention in class and not do naughty things in the back row"

Cold could be a clue; after reading Rods2's message, I wondered if the sort of freezer spray that plumbers use might help? Less risky than a stick-and-run approach!
What sort of professional pest controller "don't do ladders"?

Thank you all for your kind words - feels good!
I promise to take care of her, and hope for a similar result next year.
We ought to have a "fingers crossed" pictogram.....

That's what Forum wisdom has it, Kevin, but this chap was Old School and probably didn't update himself? He was thorough though and inspected the undersides, etc., and the poor Omega had a good vibro-massage with those shaker plates - not seen them used before! :o

.....and no advisories! Sod's Law would have it that on tne pre-MOT warm-up run, the EML light came on. Roadside diagnostic said No Codes Found, so I'm puzzled, but the MOT man didn't comment on it, so happy days! :y :y :y 8) 8)

An assocoated question: for the last couple of years the EML light has been coming on randomly and I have "cured" it by treating the car to some Cataclean. It didn't always seem to "put that light out", as the ARP chief says, so maybe it truly is random?
Anyway, in preparation for tomorrow's MOT, I used my OBD code reader to see if any codes had been stored, with a view to clearing them if they had.
No codes reported.
Is that to be expected? ???
