I don't know what it's called, but there is a spiral wrap product just for that purpose that is very springy and will hold the cables quite tightly. There will be someone along soon with full details, I'm sure!

I NEVER watch sport, but in this case.....

Ron.

P.S. Where can I see it?

Zirk and Rods2, I like whatn you say but that won't get my contacts and data back. I'll look at alternatives if and when I recover my account.
What's an IMAP account and how do I get one, please?

Ron.

Nice to know that I'm not the only one, Mr. Varche!
The worst part about this situation is that all of my contacts and historic messages are now lost to me.
Hotmail's best suggestion was to create a new account, but that doesn't get my data back: what a shower of chocolate teapots they are! >:(

Ron.

Ah, that's more like what I expected! Welcome back.... :P

STEMO, that looks a useful contact number, thanks. I will try them tomorrow, when they are awake!  :y

Ron.

P.S. You do realise that you are endangering your reputation as an unhelpful b*stard, don't you?  ;D

97
No, DG - my phone is just a basic "ring, bloody ring" model!
However, it was coincident with Hotmail trying to force users to convert to Outlook. The (unhelpful) messages all have the correct logos and templates, so seem genuine. The main problem is that all the information that they want me to provide is contained within my email account, which I cannot access - for example, exact subject heading for sent emails, etc.
If I could contact a real person at Hotmail and get real answers, that would help; but they keep true contact information a secret!

I am unable to access my Hotmail email account, for no apparent reason. They said that somebody else has been trying to access my account, so I went through the identification procedure SEVERAL times and was repeatedly told that I had not provides sufficient information to confirm my identity. However, since most of the data needed to do so is in my contact list in my email account, this proved difficult!
I have now lost patience with the automated (and unhelpful) system.
Obviously, at the very least I will need to recover all of my contact and history information, but ideally I wish to have my account re-instated fully.
There seems to be no known way to contact a real person at Hotmail, only a robopt with standard, useless answers.
Can the mighty Forum help, please?

If they don't like it here, they know where the airport is. We won't miss them. :P

What does he have to apologise for, Mr. Blue? Has he lied, or said anything to offend us?  ???

TG, we are ALL racist - it's Nature's way. Think about it: when there is any kind of threat from outside, what do we do?  We band together as a group and turn against the "aliens" and repel them. Why the F**k are we so afraid to use the term racist?

He SHOULD have got the top job instead of May - we would have been out of Europe by now, on good terms, too.
To have somebody in No. 10 who is clued-up would be a refreshing change.
As Mayor, he did a lot of good things for London, including getting rid of Red Ken@s ridiculous and dangerous bendy buses, but I will never forgive him for handing over much of my paid-for road space in the Capital to cyclists! It has created much more of the congestion that he hoped to reduce.
If I speak to him nicely, when he becomes PM, could I be his Minister for Transport? Please?

The usual answer seems to be crank sensor and the water problem is the classic blocked scuttle drain - clear it out!  :y
