I have the same problem i am a new owner and i have noticed in the last day or so since i got it that the guage moves up and down slighty depending on where i am driving wonder is this a sign of the head going or is this a normal thing. mine is a 02 CD DTI 2.2 with 160k on the clock

dont know on the head cause no smell of oil or petrol in tank? doin timin belt soon and water pump so think will
flush radiator out have heard could be blockage
