Hazards keep flashing
« on: 29 September 2012, 19:55:32 »

Decided to turn over the miggy as she has lay in the drive for about a month. Had to give her a jump as the battery was flat. She started no bother but the problem is that the hazards wont stop flashing. Ant ideas anyone.

Sounds like the indicators are flashing the alarm (obviously silent due to no PS). If switching hazards on/off a few times doesn`t stop them you can pull the relay that controls the alarm indicators.

Cheers Rob, which relay is it. Under dash or in box at battery?

Sounds like the alarm has been acticvated but is silent due to missing ps.

Re set it be locking / unlocking with the blipper...? Will need a sufficiently charged battery though. No ...?

If it is the alarm, then the alarm horn is knackered as well...
