How do people do it?
« on: 24 March 2013, 16:30:33 »

I know he's driving an Audi (which might answer my question :-X) but how do you manage to do this when it's obvious the roads are slippery and it's snowing? ::) ::)

Should add, I hope the driver makes a full recovery... He's in the best place for head injuries :y

judging by some of the halfwits on the road on Friday night when it took me over 2 hours to do 20-odd miles just because of a bit of snow (OK ..... it'd drifted to 5 or 6 feet in places  ::)) it doesn't surprise me. Probably too much right foot.

He had to be moving fairly quickly to clear the pavement,go through the hedge and hit two cars and still stick it into the house, I hope he recovers well but a drivers awareness course beckons ???

to get air like that and end up where he has,he must have been driving like a complete tool...hopefully he will make it but if he does think he needs more than a driver awareness course :-\

I'd like to see his insurance claim.....

'I was driving along minding my own business, when a kerb. a hedge, two parked cars and a house all lept in front of me'  ;D

Seriously tho, i hope he recovers from that  :)

It doesnt actually say a 20yo, it says believed to be in his 20's, so if early 20's, maybe a rich dad that can afford a car like that for his son or if late 20's, doing well for himself.......either way i would have thought insured.......but you can never tell these days  :-\

True......assuming it wasnt stolen.....it could have been Dad's car or a mates i guess....hence giving it large if he's not used to driving it, a bit of a novelty.

very popular car to steal, probably now, definitely 10 years back.  I know someone who was likely followed home, coathanger though letter box early hours of morning, keys and tt gone, eventually written off with a dead driver.
