 Essentially I've paid £225 for an oil and filter change. :-\

I can't prove they have done either. No dipstick to find dirty or clean oil on.

Hmm, I would say you've paid £225 for a stamp in the book, which is rather valuable while the car is under warranty  :y

That is why I had it done, Jimmy. :y

I imagine there was a lot of expensive 'arse scratching' going on while they waited for the oil to drain.

When take the Datsun in for a service I provide the oil and get the oil deducted from the service cost, it might work out more expensive but at least I know what oil is going in.

Assuming that actually use it and donít pocket the decent stuff youíve bought and stick el cheapo bulk oil in :-X ::)
