The first buyer didn't get in contact for 48 hours, and then pulled out of the sale because he had an unforeseen serious financial situation.

If the second buyer doesn't go through with it, Kate, I'll give it to you at a significantly reduced cost

I have a 2.6 CD auto estate sitting at home. It's in need of an MOT & a few bits & pieces need doing to get one.
It's the ubiquitous silver, a mere 80'000 miles with excellent history including 2 new cam belts.
I advertised it here a while back, the ad is probably still here.
I'm not local to you though.
Send me a pm if it is of any interest.
Cheers.

Thanks very much but I need an Omega with some Mot on it.

Sorry Kate, but I did say in my message that the chap who enquired first had refusal, and that the offer was only on the basis he didnít take it :y

Which tbh, imo contradicts your earlier post in this thread James. To me, that post was offering Kate first refusal on the car if the ebay sale didn't happen.

James did offer me first refusal but I turned him down as it was over my budget.

I hope that does not turn out to be a mistake Kate, as a James fettled car is a good 'un, and if not he will almost certainly fix it for parts only, whereas from anywhere else, however cheap, it will almost certainly be a money pit. Good luck with your search. :y
