not so "ace" if you want to mod stuff ,like adding cameras and the feeds you want to tap into are PWM  ;D
I had to add opto-isolator relays and extra wiring (the astra H cars of the fleet)

Canbus  is a nightmare >:(
What's wrong with CAN?

Its far better/simpler/cheaper/lighter/reliable than the old ways of doing things?

Programmable CAN controllers are 2-a-penny now, if you simply want to read the messages.  If you want to inject messages for your other custom CAN controllers, its easy.  Its if you want to inject messages for the factory fit ECUs to use is where you will have fun...

run the front screen jets to empty the tank, put some (not much) vauxhall recommended screen wash in neat, put the rest of the bottle in the car for the vauxhall part swap monkey to see
check the rear jet is not blocked (causing the line to go high pressure and leak)
if it's under warranty ,you covered what you need
ask for a couple of gallon of screen wash and a full tank of fuel as a good will gesture  :P

They're not daft. They'll take the sample straight out of the rear jet.

So if you don't use their screenwash, it's a no to a warranty claim?  ???

No, Jimmy. Apparently, they state that it must be a 50/50 mix. So I'll have to make sure it's 50/50 at the rear jet, which will involve making sure that's what I have in the bottle, and then getting it to the rear jet, thus soaking the electrics and lighting up my Christmas tree again. Sigh......... :(

All dash lights off again this morning, it's obviously drying out. Just got to convince Vx to fix the pipe without 'proving the fault', or we'll be back to square one.
