Reading between the lines it seems that Sainsbury are insisting customers obediently bend a knee to BLM, or shop elsewhere. Insanity.

Sainsbury's are just recognising that we live in a multi-racial and ethnic society and reflects their customer base where ALL (apart from shop lifters!) are more than welcome and you can buy ingredients and dishes that reflect an international flavour.   No one, especially any national retailer like Sainsbury's, is expecting it's customers to obey / follow any particular political message with "taking the knee" because that is not what they are doing.  In retail that is commercially suicidal.

The white 'boss men' at the top of Sainsbury's have been told they need to be more 'woke' unless they want to be seen as racist.

So, they fall over themselves in their effort to show how cosmopolitan and inclusive they are. Then, as patronising white liberal saviours of the poor oppressed black people, they  infantilize black people further by giving them a 'safe space' where they can be safe from white people (presumably the same evil white bigots who also work in the shop)

BLM will always attract black people with a victim mentality.......just blame everything on the white man. Fortunately there are many black people who do not feel oppressed or buy into the evil white man with his white privilege narrative. Such black people tend to do very well in life. Good on them
