Just went to get some rear pads.

Are yours vented?

Yes

We have to order them in and they are not on trade club, also £46.05+Vat

WTF

Seem to recall that the rear pads are the same if vented or not.....

....just checked.

All models disc pads    93169001         £11.14 + vat trade club

And thats following a call to a local friendly part man

Friction pads themselves are identical, but the Vented also has the following in the kit:

9195055 - PIN, RETAINING, FRICTION PAD, REAR BRAKE DISC CALIPER (vented)
9195056 - SPRING, EXPANDING, REAR BRAKE DISC CALIPER (vented)

Hello Martin,I've found out from bitter experience,safer if a little more costly to stick to ORIGINAL SPEC krappy or even slightly sub standard pads will wreck those rear vented discs and you can't get after market omega vented discs, i've checked a while back. You really do need some guarantees on brake pads to give smooth durability. I take it that £46. price was for original spec from Vx. I know dealers also sell after market pads. :-? Regards Cliff
