Replaced the external temp sensor and heater bypass on kitty, the latter being one pig of a job. Give me an Omega HBV any day!  My hands are now shot to pieces.

Toasty warm cabin now though :y

Anything to oblige Matt, when would you like to do mine? ::)

Had the local garage change the cambelt on the Mondeo, so I'm abit poorer today.  :(

They also replaced the Aux belt and rattley tensioner whilst there, but sadly the rattle is from the A/C compressor pulley/clutch so more expense!  >:(  Sigh... ::)

Some good news to report though!  :y

On Sunday night the ABS/ASC lights came on on the BMW and I lost the speedo, mpg gauge and trip computer.  ::)  Luckily unlike TB I don't throw old sat navs out of the window so pressed my old Garmin back into service for a speedo.  :y  ;D

It seems my elderly BMW though has a self healing feature and now all the lights go out and the gauges are working properly again!  :y

I plugged my code reader into the big round plug under bonnet and it told me that there was an intermittent signal from rear left ABS sensor, so hopefully it was some crud that has now gone.  :-\  ::)  :)    We'll see.....  :-\  :y

Helped bleed the clutch on a 2002 Rover 75 Diesel.

Who the hell thought above the clutch pedal was a good place for the tank!

They are a ficker, Jimbob. There's one above the pedal and one inside the bell housing. But I thought you could top up from under the bonnet?

No,sadly you have to contort into the drivers footwell to top up the reservoir which is the size of a thimble, bloody ballache for what is quite a nice car

I know all about it, Henry, our MGZT had exactly the same setup. It developed a small leak, very small, but still enough to empty that tiny little thing above the pedal every couple of days.
I top it up and drove it to Evans Halshaw on the day we traded it for an astra H. Salesman took it round the car park and was happy with it. I had a big grin on my face as I drove out.  ;D

Where itís going is another question. No value in the car and no money to replace it either. Clutch was done not that long ago. So hoping a top up is all it needs.

Been playing the old game of lets swap the headunit as many times as possible.  Now if I could merge all 3 headunits I have to make one good one....

"What could possibly go wrong?" ;D

May have been bled when clutch was done but not topped up,many people think the brake fluid reservoir is for the clutch as on many other vehicles

Indeed, or even topping up the condom air seal inside rather than the reservoir itself
