Urgent photo of V6 head gasket needed

I need to have a look at one - I think mine may be the wrong way round

Anyway I am going to try to reuse head bolts and head gasket as I am now sure they are the wrong way round on 135

Is it possibe to get it wrong? :-/ Never done one though (on an Omega)

It does look like it's possible to put on 4r$e about face, but looking at the oil way, I think you'd have a huge oil leak from the head where the oil is supposed to be going up to the head.

The pattern one I used is wide the whole length

thats a 2.5 gasket set the 2.6 has metal layer gaskets  :o

but the oil hole in the gasket will still be relative to the oil feed.

At least you got it before any lasting damage.

That was rather quick getting them off :o

Head is unbolted and loosish - the holes are visible from the outside

 :-/ I know it's now irrelevent now, but, using the gaskets above, which way were they wrong. Did you spin them along a north/south axis or an east/west axis? Either way your oil way wouldn't be lined up.
